Rain in Delhi brings down the season’s temperature by 10 degrees


On Sunday, light rain occurred in parts of Delhi, causing the maximum temperature to drop by ten notches below the season's average to 28.7 degrees Celsius. This was according to the India Meteorological Department. Delhi received traces of rainfall on Thursday, with the Safdarjung observatory recording 0.3 mm while other observatories recorded traces. The temperature in the city remained below the season's average, with a minimum of 22.8 degrees Celsius. The Indian Meteorological Department shared that the relative humidity fluctuated between 56 and 71 percent. The forecast for Monday is generally cloudy skies with the possibility of very light rain and thundershowers. The areas affected by the weather conditions may experience gusty winds with speeds ranging between 25-35 kilometers per hour.
