PM Modi flagged off the first Vande Bharat train from Odisha and second from West Bengal via video conferencing. The train will run between Puri and Howrah. The event saw Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw in attendance too. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone for the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Sambalpur's new campus on 2 January 2021. He will also dedicate four railway projects in the Odisha state, including a doubling of the Sambalpur-Titlagarh rail line, a third line between Manoharpur-Rourkela-Jharsuguda-Jamga and a new rail line between Bichhupali and Jhartarbha.
