Pakistan's cricket board (PCB) is in discussion with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the International Cricket Council (ICC) to send a security delegation to India after the country got the green light to host the 2023 World Cup. PCB chairman Ehsan Mani said they would look to build bridges with the BCCI and revive ties between the two countries. The bilateral cricket ties between the two nations have been suspended since 2012 following a terror attack on the Sri Lankan team bus in Lahore. Pakistan is set to request a security delegation from India and the International Cricket Council (ICC) ahead of the upcoming T20 World Cup. It is hoped that the delegation can ease any security concerns held by Pakistani players.
