Manggoulal, a 30-year-old visitor to Manipur with his wife and mother-in-law, shared an account of their trip on Monday. For privacy reasons, their surnames and specific location were not disclosed. At sunset, tear gas shells and gunshots could be heard, and smoke could be seen in the streets.
