The magnitude of the earthquake reported this time is 6.4. Antakya was the main center this time and jerks were felt in Syria as well.

The magnitude 7.8 earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria on Monday is most likely to be one of the deadliest this decade, according to seismologists. They also reported a more than 100 km (62 miles) rupture between its Anatolian and Arabian plates. The epicenter is about 26 km east of the Turkish city of Nurdagi, with a depth of about 18 km on the East Anatolian Fault.
