Noida-based pharma Marion Biotech had come under a Cloud of reports about the Death of children consuming cough syrup from Uzbekistan. According to WHO, laboratory analysis of the cough syrup samples undertaken by National quality control laboratories of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan found that both products contained unacceptable amounts of diethylene glycol and ethylene glycol to work as a contaminant.
