Antony Blinken, the Secretary of the State, announced on Tuesday after the State Department announcement that Israel has not taken steps against settlers. President Joe Biden and other senior US officials stated that Israel must act to stop violence by Israeli settlers against Palestinians in the West Bank, which has increased since October 7.
In response to this, Blinken imposed visa restrictions on Israeli settlers who are involved in undermining peace in the occupied West Bank. They are continuously committing acts of violence or taking other actions.
