A mob vandalised the house of Union Minister R.K. Ranjan Singh in Imphal on June 15. The agitating group stormed his residence at Kongba Nandeibam Leikai in Imphal East district. Singh is the Minister of State for External Affairs and Education. Further details about the incident were not immediately available. Minister of State for External Affairs V. Muraleedharan is facing accusations of ignoring Myanmar's encroachment on Manipur's territory by shifting boundary pillars. Mr. Muraleedharan had previously been an activist working to protect Manipur's land from Myanmar.
