The BJP in Karnataka has promised the introduction of the Uniform Civil Code, creating 10 lakh jobs in the manufacturing sector, and a State Capital Region label for Bengaluru in its election manifesto for the Assembly polls on 10 May. BJP released a document called BJP Praja Pranalike in Bengaluru, which was presided over by national president JP Nadda, with the Chief Minister Basavaraj S Bommai and veteran party leader BS Yediyurappa being present. BJP President J.P. Nadda has said that the party's election manifesto for the upcoming West Bengal assembly polls was not made in an air-conditioned room but was prepared after party workers visited every corner of the state and gathered inputs.
