The UIDAI has announced that Aadhaar cardholders can make free updates to their Aadhaar documents, old or new, on the myAadhaar portal for the next three months. This service will only be available on the myAadhaar portal, and regular fees of Rs 50 will be applicable for other offline services. This step will ensure hassle-free updating of the Aadhaar. Users can update their Aadhaar data, such as name, address, mobile number, gender, email, etc., online in a few simple steps. After logging in with an Aadhaar number, they will receive an OTP and click on ‘Document Update.’
