Joe Benarroch, NBCUniversal's former EVP of communications, global advertising and partnerships, is joining Elon Musk's Twitter team in a new role focused on business operations. Benarroch said in a memo to colleagues that he was taking on the “exciting and dynamic” opportunity to work with Musk and his team. It is unclear what specific responsibilities Benarroch will have in his new role. Elon Musk has appointed Parag Agrawal as the new chief technology officer (CTO) of Twitter, following the firing or loss of around 75% of Twitter employees, including key sales and partnerships staff, since his October takeover.
