The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended Justice Devendra Upadhyaya of the Allahabad High Court as the Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court. The Collegium, made up of Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud and Justices Sanjay Kishan Kaul and Sanjiv Khanna, made the decision. Justice Upadhyaya has been appointed as the Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court by the collegium. His eleven years of experience in dispensing justice and representation of the Allahabad HC has been acknowledged.
