Siddararamaiah and Shivakumar seen in Delhi for Cabinet talks and go for swearing-in tomorrow
Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar, set to take oaths as Chief Minister and Deputy CM of Karnataka respectively, were seen in New Delhi to hold talks with Congress high command over Cabinet formation. The move came after the Congress and JD(S) defeated the BJP in Karnataka elections 2018. The Congress and JD(S) have also submitted a list of 15-20 points, including farm loan waiver and employment generation plan to be included in the Common Minimum Programme. The Opposition parties are using the swearing-in ceremony as a show of strength, with the Congress inviting several CMs, including Nitish Kumar, Mamata Banerjee and MK Stalin. Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar have also met with Kar.
