Pakistan has blamed the RSS and BJP for the violent protests in several cities following the arrest of former Prime Minister Imran Khan. The statement has shocked many as it appears to be a baseless excuse to deflect from internal problems. The protests have resulted in the death of at least three people and left many injured. The international community has called for calm and urged Pakistan to address the root causes of the unrest. Tarar, while speaking to the media about the violence in Pakistan, accused the RSS and BJP of sending people to create chaos in the country. He further alleged that there were also celebrations in India following the recent incident.
