Rescuers detected a underwater noise while searching the area

A Canadian surveillance aircraft searching for the missing Titan submersible and its crew in the North Atlantic has detected underwater noises in the search area, according to the US Coast Guard. The submersible vanished on 17 August, approximately 15 km off the coast of St. John's, Newfoundland. Five crew members were on board. The cause of the disappearance is unknown. The US Navy and Canadian Armed Forces are among those involved in the search. Rescue teams from multiple countries are scouring a vast area of ocean larger than Connecticut in search of a missing vessel called the Titan. Both aerial and underwater searches are underway to locate the ship, with less than two days' worth of oxygen left for those onboard.
