North India has been gripped by cold waves and dense fog for many days. On Tuesday India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a red and yellow alert for various areas in Inia. IMD said' cold day to severe cold day' will be there in various northern states.
“Cold wave is likely at isolated places over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttar pradesh, and Rajasthan,” the IMD said.
