Records are high on D-Street as Sensex jumped for 400 points

 

Indian equity indices rose with the Nifty50 hitting a fresh all-time high of 18,940 and the Sensex reaching a new peak of 63,807, following an overnight rally on Wall Street. At 11.17 am, the Indian stock market saw the Nifty50 index being traded at 18,937 with an increase of 0.64%, and the S&P BSE Sensex added 0.16% to 63,805 with a gain of 389 points. Tata Motors, Titan, IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finance, Reliance, SBI, and L&T were the top gainers in the Sensex pack, while Wipro and Kotak Mahindra Bank were the top losers. Titagarsh Rail Systems also saw a 5% increase after receiving a letter of acceptance from Gujarat Metro Rail.
