Rahul Gandhi visiting the violence hit Manipur on June 29-30

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is set to visit Manipur on June 29 and 30 to inspect relief camps and communicate with civil society representatives in Imphal and Churachandpur. According to Congress General Secretary K.C. Venugopal, the visit comes after violence struck the area. The northeastern state has been rocked by clashes between the Meitei community and the Kuki tribe, resulting in unprecedented violence since May 3. Over 110 people have lost their lives, and many have been displaced.
