Mani Ratnam’s historical epic film, Ponniyin Selvan: I will, has now been released in theatres this Friday. The film was registered with massive Booking sales and is now running in theaters with a packed house from early morning shows. All trends have indicated that the multi-starrer film will break Tamil cinema’s box office records. It is also likely for this film to emerge as the best-opening for Tamil film of the year. Sources have confirmed that Ponniyin Selvan I had bookings for almost ₹17 crores Friday.
