Prime Minister Narendra Modi's State visit to the US has resulted in various agreements between India and the US. These include a joint production plan for a jet engine, assembly of MQ9B High Altitude Long Endurance (HALE) drones in India, and the Artemis Accord for joint safe exploration of Moon and Mars. The visit aimed to boost economic and defence ties between the two countries. Micron Technology will invest up to $825m to construct a new semiconductor assembly and test plant in India, with the support of the Indian government.
