Sachin Pilot accused Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot of lying and spreading false rumours about BJP leader Vasundhara Raje having saved the Congress government in 2020. Pilot's response came after Gehlot made the claim on Monday at a press conference. The Rajasthan CM had referred to a failed rebellion that almost toppled the Congress government last year. Pilot has been at odds with Gehlot for some time now and was recently reinstated as the state Congress president after a patch-up between the two. The conflict between Indian politician Sachin Pilot and Rajasthan's Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has escalated. Pilot launched a verbal attack against Gehlot, months before Rajasthan's state election. The incident also occurred a day before Karnataka, where the Congress is aiming to displace the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), goes to vote.
