NSA Ajit Doval has urged for enhanced collective efforts to combat cyber threats emanating from terrorists and radicals. Speaking at the 'Friends of BRICS' meeting in Johannesburg, Doval called for vigilance and effective cooperation to mitigate the risks posed by cyber terrorism. He participated in the meeting on the sidelines of Brics NSA meet. Meanwhile, several cyber security experts had previously urged banks to adopt emerging technology to tackle fraudulent activities. During a meeting, the topic of cybersecurity was discussed among the Brics countries and "Friends of Brics" including Belarus, Burundi, Iran, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Kazakhstan and Cuba. Details on the discussions were not provided.
