Mumbai Mira road murdered and accused claims to be HIV+

Accused murderer Manoj Sane claimed to police in Mumbai that he never had a physical relationship with his live-in partner, Saraswati Vaidya, as he is HIV positive. The grisly murder involved Sane allegedly chopping up Vaidya's body. Sane is currently in custody for the crime. Sane has been arrested for intentionally spreading HIV in India. Sane claimed he was diagnosed with HIV in 2008 after undergoing treatment for an accident. He also stated that he has been on medication ever since. However, police believe that he deliberately infected multiple women with the virus.
