Manoj Bajpayee was one of the first actors in the Hindi film industry to accept a web series prior to the explosion of OTT platforms amidst the pandemic. Since 2019, the actor has been playing the character of Srikant Tiwari in Amazon Prime Video's The Family Man. With its third season set to commence its shooting later this year, the series is the brainchild of Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK. Having made his acting debut in Govind Nihalani's Drohkaal (1994), Manoj considered his inclusion in the web series to be a risky bet after Raj and DK came to him with the script and story of the series.
