Kiren Rijiju exits the law ministry after having a long and fiery run-in with judiciary

Kiren Rijiju has been replaced as the Union Minister for Law and Justice by Arjun Ram Meghwal after a two-year tenure. Prime Minister Modi announced the Ministry of Earth Sciences portfolio will be allocated to Rijiju. Kiren Rijiju, an outsider to the legal fraternity, was appointed as the Law Minister to navigate the relationship between the judiciary and executive.
