An Army soldier has gone missing from his South Kashmir village and authorities fear he may have been abducted by militants. J&K Police, Army and paramilitary forces have launched a search operation while the soldier's mother has appealed for his safe return. The soldier was on leave at the time of his disappearance. A 25-year-old Indian soldier named Javaid Ahmad Wani has gone missing in Kulgam while he went to Chawalgam village to buy something. As per police sources, Wani did not return after he left his residence on Saturday evening. The investigation is underway to find out the reasons behind the disappearance of the soldier.
