Imran Khan will appear in court at Police Line Guest House in Islamabad on Wednesday after being arrested, sparking nationwide protests from his supporters. In Rawalpindi, angry protesters set fire to the Metro Station. The demonstration follows Khan's call for a "shutdown" and a "million-man march" aimed at toppling the government of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, whom he has accused of corruption and rigging the 2013 election. The Pakistani army has also been accused of manipulating the election in favor of Sharif. PTI protesters have surrounded the home of Rana Sanaullah, a senior leader of PML-N and Federal Minister. Demonstrators are still present on the roads in Upper Dir, KPK. Meanwhile, rubber bullets were fired by security personnel at PTI supporters who had gathered in Rawalpindi.
