Imran Khan has written to CJP Umar Ata Bandial, requesting more suitable security measures due to fears of assassination attempts. Khan has previously been threatened due to his vocal criticism of Pakistan's prevailing policies and so is concerned for his well-being. The CJP had given rulings in Khan's favor which may have fueled potential threats. The letter to the supreme court head also requested an impartial legal team to ensure transparency in all proceedings. Imran Khan has expressed concerns over the lack of security.
