India Cricketer Gautam gambhir has expressed surprise at the call to include Hardik Pandya in the Second T20I against New zealand in Auckland. The all-rounder was included in the team despite not having played an International match since September 2019, with gambhir saying he was "massively Surprised" by the decision. Pandya, out of Action due to a back Injury, made his International return in the Second T20I against New zealand but failed to make an impact with the bat, scoring just six runs from seven deliveries.
