G20 meeting ends with Russia, China refusing to accept joint statement

The G20 meeting ended with a note on the Ukraine war. China supported Russia and refused to accept the demand to cease hostilities. Russia and China were only the two nations in the meeting on Thursday that did not agree on the statement which demanded Russia’s “complete and unconditional withdrawal from the territory of Ukraine”.
