Foxconn, the Taiwan-based technology group, is set to open a manufacturing unit in the Indian city of Hyderabad, Telangana. The facility will be located at Kongara Kalan and provide various products and services. It is expected to create thousands of jobs in the region and is seen as a significant boost to the local economy. Foxconn Chairman Young Liu has written to Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, seeking support to operationalize the Kongar Kalan Park rapidly. He announced that the company is setting up a manufacturing facility at the said location.
