Tesla CEO Elon Musk has said the EV maker is looking to invest in India "as soon as humanly possible." Musk's comments came after a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New York. As previously reported in this brief, Tesla recently opened its first Indian showroom in the commercial capital, Mumbai, and is now said to be scouting Mumbai and neighbouring Gujarat for locations for offices. The company has plans to hire staff across various functions in India, including sales, service, engineering, and HR.
