The cult classic thriller film, Drishyam, is set to be screened at the 76th Cannes Film Festival as part of the 'Marché du Film' (film market) section. The Mohanlal-starrer film has been remade in several languages, including Hindi, and has been well-received in each of the remakes. This marks a significant achievement for the film industry in Kerala, India, which has been gaining international recognition in recent years. The Indian film "Drishyam" is set to become the first film officially remade in Korean with the collaboration of an Indian and Korean studio jointly producing the remake. The production of the first installment is expected to begin next year.
