Dreaming of IIT, how did he become a Cinematographer!

It is said that when passion is riding on the head, then a person reaches his destination. Such is the story of Kuldeep Maurya, a resident of Varanasi. Born on 9 September 1998 in a middle class family, Kuldeep was talented since childhood.

After Higher Secondary he wanted to go to IIT but he did not get admission in IIT because he not qualifying in the exam so he did a diploma in electroplating.

Meanwhile, he got the opportunity to work as a production assistant in a Hindi film for the first time. This was the first time he had stepped towards a new destination. He learned a lot by working in that film, he got a chance to do the cinematography of a short film after that film. After that he made many short films.

This is where his IIT journey ended, Turned into a cinematographer. The short film, filmed by him was given a lot of love by the audience.

In 2020, he made his debut as a producer and cinematographer with his much-loved film. He produced the film named “Chukmi” which has been shooted in Kolkata.

After this he produced a mini web series named “Ishq Banaras” in which it is the director himself which will soon come on OTT.

With this, he also came into film distribution, From a company named Posterwala TVC. They release films on OTT platforms, he has taken up the task of releasing the films of directors & producers till big and big OTT platforms.

By taking many films to the OTT, the producers have got their due & make profits, as the founder and CEO of the company Posterwala TVC has now become the first choice of the producers.
