The Congress party in Karnataka raised concerns before the state's election on Wednesday, after spotting buses from Goa in northern Karnataka. The party shared a video of a bus and questioned whether illicit money was being transported or if the aim was to facilitate bogus voting in the state. The move follows recent incidents of alleged electoral malpractice, including the seizure of tens of thousands of fake voter ID cards in Bengaluru last month. The results of the Karnataka election are expected to be announced on May 15. Karnataka witnesses aggressive campaigning ahead of the important elections with support in favor of the Congress. BJP and Congress leaders engaged in a war of words, leading to an Election Commission notice to Sonia Gandhi and other offenders for violating the code of conduct.
