The Congress party has accused Sansad TV, the public broadcaster, of giving less screen time to Rahul Gandhi during his speech in the Lok Sabha. This came after Gandhi spoke for the first time in the Lok Sabha after being appointed a member of the Parliamentary Committee on External Affairs. Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala alleged that Sansad TV had given lesser screen time to Gandhi than to other members. The party has demanded that Sansad TV should ensure equal screen time for all members. Congress MP Rahul Gandhi accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of neglecting Manipur and not considering it part of India during a speech in the Lok Sabha.
