The Nashville-based Vanderbilt University's Peabody college received criticism from the school newspaper after utilizing ChatGPT to create a message regarding the significance of community in response to a deadly school Shooting in Michigan. The Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion at the University declared in a Feb. 16 email that “maintaining a secure and inclusive atmosphere is a constant endeavor that necessitates continuous effort and dedication." At the end of the message, it was stated that it had been reworded using ChatGPT, an AI text generator.
