Chandrachud refuses to respond over judgements on Article 370

Chandrachud, our Chief Justice of India, on January 1, refused to fuel the further conversation on upholding the abrogation of Article 370 that bestowed special status to Jammu Kashmir. Chief Justice of India also spoke about the five-judge constitution bench verdict refusing to legalize same-sex marriages. However, he acknowledged that "long and hard battle" queer couples fought for the realization of their rights.
