The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on January 17 has recently registered a disproportionate assets case filed against a retired Indian Railway traffic Service (IRTS) for its 1989 batch officer Pramod Kumar Jena. The CBI has reportedly seized ₹1.57 crore in Cash and about 17 kilograms of gold worth ₹8.50 crores, the detection of his Bank and postal deposits for about ₹2.50 crore, and papers with several immovable properties during their investigation at his premises.
