Brightcom Group's stock has hit its lower circuit for the 12th consecutive session, reaching a new multiyear low of INR10.26 ($0.14) on 10 June. Investor Shankar Sharma owns the company, and investors fear they will be stuck with a "penny stock." Many investors are already trapped with the company, having bought shares when they were much higher. Penny stocks are generally defined as those trading below single-digit prices or less than Rs 10. Brightcom Group, with a market cap slightly over Rs 2,000 crore, is expected to fall in this category.
