Bihar Chief Minister remark on population control; was opposed by opposition leaders

On TuesdayBihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was surrounded by controversy after he used vulgar language in the state assembly about the role of women in population control and education. He stressed how important education is for women to check population growth. The Chief Minister's talk in the assembly about population control has marked the condemnation from opposition leaders. He also commented on how the fertility rate decreased by 4.3 per cent and has now dropped to 2.9 per cent per a report last year.
