Bihar Cabinet on Tuesday: Nitesh Kumar Cabinet has cleared a proposal to increase the quota to 75 per cent from 60 per cent, giving 10% quota to the economically weak section. Besides this, the govt decided to give Rs 2 lakh to each family whose income is less than 6000 per month for five years. It also gives Rs 1 Lakh as a one-time assistance to 67 lakh families raising their homes, Which means the Cabinet purr an additional burden of 50,000 crore to the exchequer.
