Axis Bank-Citibank deal is likely to get completed by March 1

Axis Bank has reported to the stock exchanges that the deal to secure Citibank India's consumer and NBFC businesses of Citicorp is projected to be completed by the first of March. By this date, Citi's customers, workers, and assets will have been shifted to Axis, and the Indian lender will pay the acquisition consideration of Rs 12,325 crore.
