Junmoni Rabha, a sub-inspector of Assam Police known as "Lady Singham" or "Dabang cop" for her strictness, died on Tuesday in a road collision. The accident occurred when her car collided head-on with a container truck in Nagaon district. The 30-year-old woman was involved in many controversies as a police officer. A female sub-inspector of Assam Police, identified as Meenakshi Rabha, died in a car accident in Sarubhugia village. She was alone in a private car, not in uniform. A police patrol team reached the spot and took her to a nearby hospital, where she was declared dead. The accident occurred at 2:30 am. The cause of the incident is yet to be ascertained. The family of Rabha, who was in charge of the Morikolong police outpost, demands an impartial investigation into the suspicious nature of his accident. The case has been transferred to CID, according to Assam DGP GP Singh.
