Article 19 ambit expanded by Supreme Court

Recently Supreme Court ruled out that the people of the country can ask to enforce the fundamental right to freedom of speech even against other people. 

Data-t="{"n":"blueLinks"}">“A fundamental right under Article 19/21 can be enforced even against persons other than the State or its instrumentalities,” said the  Constitution Bench Tuesday.

Data-t="{"n":"blueLinks"}">The Court ruled out that this right cannot be curbed on basis of any reasons other than those mentioned in Article 19(2).
