Army Chopper crashed in J&K's Kishtwar

 

An Indian Army helicopter carrying three officers crashed Thursday morning in a remote forest area of Kishtwar district in Jammu and Kashmir. The helicopter was an AHL Dhruv model. Further details on the cause of the crash or any potential casualties are unknown. After a helicopter crash in Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua district, two pilots and a technician on board were rescued and taken to Command Hospital, Udhampur. Immediate rescue operations were initiated. A Court of Inquiry has been initiated after the wreckage of a helicopter that crashed and washed away in the Marusudar River was found in the Kishtwar district's Marwah-Dachhan area.
