Apple replaced a key Broadcom chip with an in-house design

Apple Inc (AAPL.O) has been planning to replace a Broadcom Inc (AVGO.O) chip from its devices with an in-house design in earlier 2025; Bloomberg News has also reported on Monday to all the citing people familiar with the matter. The iPhone maker has also been working to limit its Reliance on other chip makers that have moved to its line of chips for the recent models of its Mac computers, replacing all those from Intel Corp (INTC.O).
