Blinken and Hakan Fidan discussed their efforts for humanitarian assistance to people in need. And they have discussed what we can do to make the conditions sustainable and peaceful for the peace of Israelis and Palestinians. The meeting ran for two and a half hours and focused on the tensions arising between Israel and the Palestinian militant group Hamas. The meeting has a major focus on ways to relieve the humanitarian toll of the Israel-Hamas war.
