Afghans braved the severe cold facing a stark choice for food and warmth

Many provinces in Afghanistan have recently seen an exceptionally cold winter these last two weeks, with temperatures continuously dropping to as low as -21 degrees Celsius, which would be -5.8 Fahrenheit in Kabul.
