Afghan Hindu and Sikh leaders discussed citizenship, visas, and upkeep of temples and gurdwaras with India's External Affairs Minister. This was their first meeting since the Taliban took over Kabul. The leaders raised concerns about the safety, security and rights of minorities in Afghanistan, especially after recent attacks. They also requested India's support in evacuating those who are particularly vulnerable, such as women and children.
